Shaun Carl Poor

Shaun Carl Poor, age 42, went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2022. He was born in Stuttgart, AR on July 5, 1979, to Junior and Louise Poor. He brought so much joy to his family, especially to his big sister, Robin, who couldn't wait for him to be born.

He was a member of the Church of the Firstborn, giving his heart and the care of his soul to the Lord on May 14, 2000. He enjoyed traveling to visit other Brethren and talking about what he learned from the Bible.

He was a truck driver by trade and was happy on the road. He touched many lives during his short time on earth and will be missed by many. He will be greatly missed by the nephew he adored, and Unca Shaun will forever live in Garion's heart.

Shaun was preceded in death by his loving parents, Junior Carl Poor and Mary Louise Sloate Poor.

He is survived by his sister Robin Denice Poor Taylor, his nephew Garion Alexander Taylor, his best friend Kris (Monique) McFerrin, three aunts, many cousins and friends.

Funeral services were June 14 at the Church of the Firstborn with burial in Thompson Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home.
