Shelby Jean Campbell Dawes

Shelby Jean Campbell Dawes, 79, of Almyra passed away on November 10, 2023. She was born January 11, 1944, in DeWitt to Jim and Florence Tibbett Campbell.

She was a member of Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church. Shelby loved her plants and could make anything grow. She took care of everyone and everything.

Shelby was preceded in death by her parents; one son Leslie Dawes; grandson Benjamin Dawes; and brother James Campbell.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Dawes; two children Randy and Sheila; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers Wayne and Tracy Campbell; and two sisters Gladys McSwain and Sissy Manis.
