ROAD CLOSURE AT PENDLETON

As record breaking flooding is occurring all along the Arkansas River, Pendleton Bend at Dumas in Desha County is already feeling the effects as the river is climbing out of its banks.

Currently at 32.5 feet, the river at Pendleton is not expected to crest at 36 feet until Friday, June 7th.

Officials closed the road to the boat landing at 10:25 a.m. today.
