State of AR Closure Updates on Schools, Restaurants, Bars & Gyms

Governor Asa Hutchinson provided a new update for the state of Arkansas as of 3:20 pm on Thursday, March 19th on COVID-19 after 62 cases were confirmed Thursday afternoon. Six of the cases are children, 41 of the cases are adults age 19-64, and 15 cases are adults 65+.

He announced that schools will be closed until April 17th and further action will be evaluated at the time. Continued education will continue through alternative methods.

Restrictions should begin tomorrow with all restaurants and bars transitioning to drive thru or curbside service only and all gyms are to close. Churches are also advised to abide by the same restrictions and cancel in house service.
