“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18:20)

To say that more than two or three gathered on Sunday, March 29, 2022, would be an understatement. It was more along the lines of hundreds, and they were all together with one mission in mind: to pack “Saturation Packs” and spread the Gospel through DeWitt.

Brother Donald Lee Ruffin learned of Saturate USA and brought it before members of his church. They were quick to sign up to do their part to share the vision with other members of local churches. Ruffin stated, “At our first meeting we had 8 churches in attendance.” With pride in his face and an overwhelming feeling of the presence of the Holy Spirit, Ruffin, with tears forming in his eyes, stated, “Our God is great! It doesn’t matter what color we are. We are all here together, working together, and it is a true testimony on how great our God is!”

Filling the Fellowship Hall at Unity Baptist Church, church members from fourteen churches lined up and worked alongside one another, filling the bags with a Jesus DVD that contains three movies about the life of Jesus Christ, a Gideon Bible, Salvation Tracks, and information on the churches that participated.

“A new commandment I have given you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this, all will know that you are My disciples if you love one another.” (John 13: 34-35)

Church members from Unity Baptist, Faith Baptist, First Assembly of God, Calvary Community Fellowship, First Baptist, First Christian, First United Methodist, New Hope, New Life, and Providence M.B. will be visiting with citizens on the morning of April 9, 2022. Their mission is to spread the Love of God and to remind citizens that Jesus loves them.

“I prayed for God to show me a way to build our churches,” stated Carolyn Knowlton. “It took three years, but today is proof that He is showing me, and everyone else here, what to do.”

Easter Sunday is April 17, 2022, and members of the churches invite you to attend their Easter Sunday services.

(Romans 10:9) “If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED!”
