Lynette Sue Hargrove Shelton

Lynette Sue Hargrove Shelton, 78, of Tichnor passed away August 17, 2022. She was born August 22, 1943, in Point DeLuce to Nathaniel "Short" and Margaret Johnson Hargrove.

She graduated from DeWitt High School in 1961. Sue was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the Department of Human Services after working there for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sue is survived by her husband Charles "Buster" Shelton of Tichnor; her children Thayn Morton (Sally) and Regail Moritz (Randy) both of DeWitt; stepson Charlie Shelton of Tennessee; grandchildren Cody Morton (Keri), Corby Morton (Kelly), Rourke Moritz (Falon), Lexa Dondanville (Jace), Rachel Tilley (John Ryan), Owen Shelton, Evie Shelton, Oliver Shelton, and Hope Shelton; great grandchildren Hannah, Harley, Henlee, Heston, Saylor, Greenley, and Jensen; great great grandchild Milam; sisters Josette Garvin of Sherwood and Gail Milliken of Bayou Meto; a special niece Leigh Ann Garvin and numerous other nieces and nephews.
