John Edward Lawson

John Edward Lawson, 79, of Stuttgart passed away August 23, 2022. He was born January 9, 1943, in Almyra to Richard and Dovie Duncan Lawson.

He was retired from Riceland Foods and was a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard that was activated during the Cuban Missile Crisis. During his time in the National Guard, John also served as a medic for those building the missile silo near Judsonia.

John was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers Lester, Sr., Raymond, Sidney, and Rickey Lawson; and two sisters Elsie Moss and Dorothy Cavins.

He is survived by his daughter Tracey Spadoni; two grandchildren A.J. Spadoni and Whitney Lackey; two great grandchildren Ashton Castello and Hayden Lunsford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
