Harold E. Scott

Harold E. Scott, 88, of Huntsville, Alabama (formerly Belle Glade, FL and St. Charles, Arkansas), passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022.

Harold (known as “Jug”) was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife Barbara (nee’ Burfield); his father and mother, Harnie Joe and Esther Scott; and his sisters Jeanette, Esther Mae and Marty.

He is survived by his brother Joe Edward Scott; his children Beverly, Lisa and Chris Scott; grandchildren, Katie Yunker (Cyrus), Caroline Kennedy (Logan), Adam Scott, Christopher Scott, Emma Scott and Christian Scott (Merenda); as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Harold will be buried in a graveside service at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens in Dewitt, Arkansas on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Essex Funeral Home in Dewitt is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Huntsville Hospital Foundation, 801 Clinton Avenue East, Huntsville, AL 35801, in honor of Harold E. Scott, DOB 12/12/1933.
