Dan Carroll Tibbett

Dan Carroll Tibbett, 70, of DeWitt died February 16, 2023. He was born May 19, 1952, in DeWitt to Clarence and Alma Shumate Tibbett.

He retired from the Corp of Engineers as a lock operator. Dan was an ordained Baptist minister and attended church at Hagler Baptist Church. He was a Navy veteran. Dan enjoyed antique cars, reading, and dogs. He especially loved his dog, Ford.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Susie Eggburn Tibbett; and daughter Mariah Tibbett.

He is survived by his children Zachary Tibbett (Jillian) of Hernado, MS, and Abby Gibson (Brian) of Selma, AR; three grandchildren Lee, Lane, and Ladd Gibson; his brother Sonny Jackson of Searcy; sister Paulette Hudson (Dickie) of DeWitt; and a nephew Clint Hudson (Tori) of DeWitt.
