Ellen W. Stubbs Dillion

Ellen W. Stubbs Dillion, 84, of DeWitt, died March 1, 2023, at home. She was born to Molly and Charles Stubbs in Forrest City, AR. Ellen graduated from White Hall High School in 1958. She was a cheerleader and played basketball. She married Buddy Dillion August 2, 1958, and to this union four children were born. They were married for 61 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters Jean Simpson and Peggy Neuse, and three brothers Stewart, Charles, and Jerry Stubbs.

Ellen is survived by her four children Theresa (Jack) Lock of DeWitt, Ronnie (Lynn) Dillion of Hamburg, Robert (Cathy) Dillion of Springdale, and Greg (Ruby) Dillion of DeWitt; sixteen grandchildren Susan (Robert) Macias of Newport News, VA, Johnathan (Becca) Powell of White Hall, AR, Colby Dillion (Melissa) Dillion of Little Rock, AR, Allison Lock of DeWitt, AR, Seth Dillion of Kentucky, Kacee (Ben) Ledbetter of Alabama, Emma (Tyler) Self of Fayetteville, AR, Matt Dillion of Fayetteville, AR, Kelli Dillion of Portland, OR, Clayton Dillion of Hazen, AR, Colton Dillion of DeWitt, AR, Matt (Marisha) Gardisser of Tontitown, AR, April (Ryan) Phillips of Springdale, AR, Josh (Bailee) Lock of Springdale, AR, and Cody (Amanda) Allen of Little Rock, AR; and twenty great-grandchildren.
