V.H. Haynes

V.H. Haynes, 70, of Gillett passed away April 9, 2023. He was born February 2, 1948, in Wilmot, AR to Vesper and Charlotte Chambers Haynes.

V.H. loved farming, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gillett.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lonelle Johnston.

V.H. is survived by his wife Leota Reed Haynes of Gillett; three children Brad Haynes (Leigh Ann) of Gillett, Audrey Haynes of Great Falls, MT, and Cliff Haynes of Gainsville, FL; two grandsons Bradley and Josh Haynes; three brothers Buddy Haynes of Heber Springs, Bill Haynes of Wilmot, and Randy Haynes of Jones, LA; and three sisters Marcelle Oliveira of Dallas, TX, Carolyn Elton of Crossett, AR, and Bonnie Cruce of Monticello.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 13 at First Baptist Church of Gillett with funeral services starting at 11:00. Burial will follow in Gillett Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home.
