2023 Arkansas County Farm Families Announced

We at DeWitt Era-Enterprise pride ourselves on bringing the families of our county the honor they deserve with an annual printed keepsake edition for them to cherish for the rest of their lives. Farm families have been celebrated for numerous years and we are so proud to celebrate the families of Arkansas County.

Matthew, Casey, Emma, Collyns and Brenley Green have been named 2023 South Arkansas County Farm Family of the Year. Over the past 22 years, the Green family has increased their farming operation from 60 to 3,300 acres of rice and soybeans.

Green grew up on the family farm and always enjoyed working alongside his family and after graduating high school went full time on the farm.

Clint, Lana, Ryleigh, and Rhett Roth have been named as 2023 North Arkansas County Farm Family of the Year. The Roth family began their career with just 213 acres and currently operates 1,600 acres of rice, corn and soybeans.

Roth is a 5th generation farmer and they currently live and have their farm shop on the original homestead that was settled in 1884.

Both of our families this year have a huge back story and we can’t wait to bring you two separate keepsake editions highlighting their success and accomplishments.

According to the Arkansas Farm Family of the Year Program Book, the purpose of the program is to give recognition and encouragement to farm families who are doing an outstanding job on their farm and in their community.
