Peggy Carlin Grantham

Peggy Carlin Grantham, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in Spruce Pine, NC after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 12, 1944 in Little Rock, AR to D.L. "Mutt" and Elizabeth "Tootsie" (Ragan) Carlin.

She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Grantham, both her parents, her sister Betty DeBerry and her brother in law Elvin Dupslaff.

Peggy was retired from Quality Stamp in Memphis, TN where she worked as a giftware and home décor buyer. She was a gifted seamstress and enjoyed making beautiful doll outfits. In her spare time she delighted in watching Nascar races, Ole Miss Football games as well as pro football.

Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Angela (Philip) White of Bakersville, NC; sister, Phyllis Dupslaff of DeWitt, AR; grandchildren, Joshua White, Anna (Charles) Robbins; great grandchildren, Charles, Anthony, Claire, Richard, Jake, Chevy and Ragan; brother in law, Bob DeBerry; nephews, Lee (Gina) DeBerry, Gerrad DeBerry and Scotty (Katie) Dupslaff.

A committal service will be held at 11 am, June 24, 2023 in Almyra, AR at Bethel Cemetery. The family welcomes all who wish to attend and share.
