Brian Gallagher Brooks

Brian Gallagher Brooks passed away on June 24, 2023.

He was born on April 22, 1986, in Stuttgart Arkansas Hospital on Earth Day to James and Darlene Brooks.

He attended elementary school in the Borough of Queens in NYC. He then attended high school in Dewitt, Arkansas and later graduated from Phillips Community College in Dewitt and Stuttgart. He worked at Dewitt Hospital as an Information Technologist (I.T.) for several years.

He is survived by his sister Amy Leonard of Los Angeles, California, and his stepfather and mother Gary and Darlene Howell.

He was preceded in death by his father James W. Brooks; grandparents W.T. and Marie (Sloate) Hester and Joseph and Mary (Gallagher) Brooks.

He went on to Heaven from Dewitt Hospital due to Cancer, surrounded with the loving care of a dedicated Hospital staff.

He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at First Assembly of God in DeWitt on Tuesday June 27th at 10 am.

Brian donated his body to the Genesis Foundation to help others.
