Zula Mae Haliburton

Zula Mae Haliburton, 82, died July 13, 2023, at her home in DeWitt 23 days after the love of her life, Leslie, passed away.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, July 22nd at 2pm at Community Bible Church at 711 S Whitehead Drive in DeWitt.

Zula was born to Nona Willene Whitworth Arthur and William Joe Arthur in Hector, AR. She met her future husband, Leslie Haliburton, and it was love at first sight. They married on December 31, 1959, in DeWitt.

She was also preceded in death by her mother, father, 5 brothers and 1 sister, and 2 granddaughters, Lesley and Leah Haliburton.

Zula is survived by her sister, Carolyn Cox (Floyd); her two children, Randy Haliburton (Suzanne) of Lonoke and Sandra Cardin (Jeff) of DeWitt; her grandchildren Joshua Haliburton, Jonathan Fuchs, Megan Fuchs, Danni Cantwell and Josh Cardin; and great-grandchildren Jakob Fuchs, Lexi Ahrens, Kinley Allen, Shiloh Fuchs, Sadie Conley and Sawyer Turner.
