Shirley Jeanette Brown Ellenburg

Shirley Jeanette Brown Ellenburg, 87, of DeWitt, passed away on July 23, 2023. She was born February 19, 1936, to Johnnie and Helen Connor Brown.

She was a member of St. Charles Missionary Baptist Church. Shirley loved to deer hunt and loved her family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie Brown and Helen Deeds; her husband Floyd "Podge" Ellenburg; one daughter Cheryl Ann Ellenburg; her granddaughter Kimberly West; and three brothers.

She is survived by her daughters Peggy Ellenburg and Carla Burnett (Randy); three grandchildren Richard West, Dean Watson, and Rebecca Hill; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three brothers.

Shirley's family gives special love and thanks to William and Mary West, Johnnie and Laveta Brown, Gail Milliken, and Rita Stevenson.
