OBIT - Clotine Shook

Clotine Shook, age 95, of Almyra, passed away December 11, 2023. Clotine was born May 22, 1928, in Almyra to B.H. and Viola Shrum.

She worked in the public at different stores in DeWitt all her married life, until she retired to take care of her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, C.W. Shook, Jr.; her son Duane Shook; her parents; five brothers Wesley, Horace, Oscar, Charlie, and Roscoe Shrum; and two sisters Opal Kagebein and Margaret Bounds.

She is survived by her son Charles Shook (Allien) and daughter Bonnie Mathews (Chester) all of Almyra, daughter-in-law Shelia Shook of DeWitt, and sister Louise Vanlandingham of Little Rock.

Clotine is also survived by her six grandchildren Brian Shook (Paige), Candi Ward (Shawn), Greg Shook (Tonya), Jason Shook (Jill), Sonya Nelson (Tony) and Shawn Isom (Tammy); eleven great-grandchildren Hannah Murdock (Blake), Austin Ward (Gordon), Torrie Shook (Grant), Colten Adams (Savannah), Jesse Nelson, Hunter Shook (Madison), Caden Shook, Easton Shook, Brittney Isom, Taylor Isom, and Christian Densmore (Dalton); and seven great-great grandchildren Blakelynn and Brylee Wagoner, Aubree Adams, Slate Isom, Haven and Hutton Murdock, and Dagen Densmore.

Graveside services were at 2:00 on December 14 at Almyra Cemetery.
