Anne Louise Burks Mannis

Anne Louise Burks Mannis, 79, of DeWitt passed away February 29, 2024.  She was born March 25, 1944, in St. Louis, MO, to Andy Edward Burks and Margaret Bartholomew Burks.

She loved all animals, particularly cats. Louise was a Christian lady of faith and enjoyed watching Word of Life Church in Johnson City, TN, and Believers Christian Fellowship in Lima, OH.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Edward Burks.

She is survived by her niece Michelle (Mike) Mahon and her children Blake and Emily; close friend Lynette Waldroup and family; and other dear friends.

Graveside services were March 3 at DeWitt Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to DeWitt Cemetery or the donor's choice.  www.essexfuneralhome.com
