Stone Bank to Host Retirement Reception for Nadja Owens, Thursday, May 23, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Stone Bank in DeWitt will host a retirement reception for longtime employee Nadja Owens on Thursday, May 23, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the bank lobby at 215 S. Jefferson in DeWitt. The bank encourages friends, family, and customers to stop in and share their best wishes. Refreshments will be served.

Nadja started her banking career with DeWitt Bank & Trust as a part-time receptionist in January 2014 and became a full-time employee in 2019 when the bank merged with Stone Bank. Before her banking career she and her late husband, Troy, owned and operated the local dairy bar, Troy’s Drive-In for 37 years.

Nadja has one son, Todd Owens and one daughter Joy Mathews, and five grandchildren. She is a member of First Assembly of God Church in DeWitt. After retirement, she plans to move to Blanchard, Oklahoma to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
