This person has had an extraordinary impact on student learning by going
the extra mile and creating positive change.

Her nomination states, “she goes above and beyond for her students to
ensure their success. She has helped every one of her students succeed by
going the extra mile to tutor even if that meant 9 pm or a weekend. She has
been a driving point for me to finish as she would not let me quit even when
I tried. She was always there to push me and give me the confidence I
needed to finish! Without her I do not feel I could’ve continued my
education, and I will be forever grateful for the extra she gave me and all her
students to ensure we were successful.” Another nomination states, “She
goes above and beyond to ensure the success of every student, and she
has so many of them! She spends countless hours tutoring and helping us
understand the assignment. I’m not a traditional student and I struggled with
focusing, time management and the academic system as it’s been so many
years since I’ve been in school, but she stepped in and ensured that I
finished as a top tier student earning the outstanding student award! Without
her I don’t know that I could’ve completed school much less as an honor
student! She takes pride in not only her work but in every student’s success.

I can’t think of anyone more deserving than her and I could go on for days
about the impact she made in my life.”
