Young Golfers Invited to Take the First Swing Ahead of the 10th Annual Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout

Registration is open now for the 2025 El Dorado Shootout Junior Clinic
EL DORADO, Ark. – The Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout is accepting registrations for its 10th annual junior golf clinic on Monday, September 15. The event marks the exciting start to the Shootout events, just days before top female golfers from around the world tee off in the LPGA qualifying tournament. The clinic will take place at Mystic Creek Golf Course from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. and is open to aspiring golfers ages 6 to 18. Space is limited for this free event, so early registration is recommended.

United Consulting sponsors the junior clinic, which offers children and teens a hands-on introduction to the game of golf and an opportunity to build their skills in a fun, supportive environment. Participants will rotate through four instructional stations led by PGA teaching professionals and Epson Tour players, offering one-on-one tips and guidance. Participants do not need prior golf experience, and no equipment is required, as KidsNGolf will provide clubs for all attendees.

“The annual junior clinic is a great way for aspiring golfers to meet high-caliber golfers chasing the same dreams,” said Don Miller, Tournament Director. “It’s also an opportunity for kids and teens to discover a new passion and appreciation for the sport of golf. Thanks to United Consulting and KidsNGolf, we’re able to get clubs into the hands of kids at no cost, making it fun and free.”

Clinic participants will meet LPGA players, learn more about the sport, and enjoy the scenic setting of Mystic Creek. Each child will receive a goodie bag, a treat, and a golf ball autographed by an Epson Tour player. One participant from each age group will win a one year scholarship to the KidsNGolf program which includes golf instruction and the opportunity to participate in regional tournaments
