UPDATE - Shooting victim named, one suspect in custody

The Stuttgart Police Department has identified the victim in Sunday’s shooting at JB Bryant Park as Treveon Jones.

One suspect has been taken into custody. The suspect’s name will not be released at this time, as this remains an active and ongoing investigation.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Arkansas State Police, Arkansas County Sheriff’s Office, Tri-County Task Force, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office , Pine Bluff Police Department, and Arkansas Game and Fish for their assistance and teamwork throughout this investigation.

Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of Treveon Jones during this difficult time.

Shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, officers with the Stuttgart Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at JB Bryant Park. One victim was shot. The victim was later pronounced deceased.
