SPD Makes Arrest in Shooting

The Stuttgart Police Department has taken Lamontae Thompson into custody in connection with the homicide that occurred on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at JB Bryant Park.

This arrest marks a significant step forward in the ongoing investigation.

We want to thank the community for their continued support and cooperation, as well as Arkansas State Police, Arkansas County Sheriff’s Office, Tri-County Task Force, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Pine Bluff Police Department, Arkansas Game and Fish, and the US Marshals Service that assisted our department throughout this case. Your efforts and partnership play a vital role in keeping Stuttgart safe.
