NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD VACANCY

STUTTGART SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD VACANCY, ZONE 2
Due to a vacancy, the Stuttgart School District will appoint a board member for zone 2. The
expected appointment date (pending any interested applicants) will be January 29, 2026.
Interested applicants in filling the vacancy for Stuttgart School District board member, zone 2,
must submit a petition, with 20 qualified elector signatures from zone 2. 

Petitions may be found on the district’s website under the Administration> Board of Education tab. 
The completed petition may be submitted via email to jeff.mckinney@stuttgartschools.org no later 
January 19, 2026.

Applicants must provide proof of residency within the boundaries of Stuttgart School District
zone 2. Zoning maps may be found on the district website. Applicants will be notified of
