Dawn’s Delights

by Dawn Teer

I hope everyone had a great Spring Break! I would like to think I did! I went with my friend, Carol, her daughter/granddaughter, and two of her friends. Two 12-year olds and a 10 year-old, all girls. We went to Hot Springs and saw the sights, Garvan Woodlands, did some shopping, went to the horse races the last day we were there and then came home.
I am now recuperating from all the walking we did.I am feeling the miles we walked, for sure.
We even went to a place with bumper boats, go carts, and an arcade. If that wasn’t enough we also went bowling, well I bowled one game and the girls bowled two, while Carol and I visited for a bit. It was a lot of fun! All that would have made it better is if my grands would have g otten to go with me. But they went off with their momma and several friends.
Now we are back to the grind of getting out a newspaper this week. So this column is short and sweet.

The most important thing coming up this week is of course Easter Sunday. If you don’t have a home church or just want to visit ours, I attend St. Alban’s Episcopal Church and all are welcome! Our services begin at 10:30, But this week, we begin an Easter Egg hunt for our kids at 10 am. We are located at 12th and Main.
Until next time…
