The Grand Prairie Quilt Society Meets

The Grand Prairie Quilt Society met Wednesday, 4/8/26, at the First Christian Church, Stuttgart, fellowship hall, with 5 members present.  Shelley opened the meeting with the Thought for the Day, "It is OK to cut negative people out of your life.  Just ...don't use your fabric scissors to do it."   April Happy Birthday wishes were extended to Ann, Sherrye, and Kay.  The March minutes and treasurer's report were given.  
Old Business:
Members reported that 22 baby blankets have been finished in the past month.  Suggested recipients include Hope of the Delta, Dana's House and Restoration of Hope. 
New Business:
Members will contact these organizations and report back to the group.
Members were also encouraged to bring ideas for future outings to the next meeting.

Maeola showed a graduation quilt in progress for her grandson, who is graduating from Stuttgart High School, Go Birds!
The next meeting will be a Sit 'n Sew on May 13, bring your project and a sack lunch and join us.
